This Week + Next Week
This week and next week are very closely linked, and so I’m going to give you a heads up on next week in case you want to split your money differently. I will be sending you a reminder next week and then you can decide based on your usage of these items.
Seasonings
So the next two weeks are just seasonings. This week I grouped together seasoned salt, garlic salt, garlic powder and onion powder, anything in that realm. I feel like those are some really common basic things that go in a lot of recipes, and so I put all of those in this week alone. Next week is other spices, so some ideas that I had for next week are: basil, Italian seasoning, paprika, cumin, chili powder, things like that. So I’m giving them all to you and, I just didn’t know if other people use the same amount of seasonings as me or whatever.
Of course, my spice rack has a ton of different spices. But we wanna focus on the most used in your home. Next week’s are a little bit more specific in that they’re more like Italian or more heat like that you would use in chili or to spice something up.
This is it for Seasonings!
By the end of next week, we are done with seasonings. So I just want to let you know and give you a heads up. We’ve already hit cinnamon, we’ve already hit salt and pepper, this is the last of it.
Back Stock
Remember, these are back stock items. You can’t look at your pantry and say, “Oh, I already have one of each of these things, so I’m good.” The point is to purchase an extra one that you always have that is full. You are gonna purchase these extra ones this week, and the next time you run out of one of them and you replace it, you buy another replacement. You should always have at least one jar of all of these more commonly used spices in your back stock at all times.
So I will still send an email next Sunday, and it will just be the reminder to finish up your spices.
So have a wonderful week and I will see you next Sunday.
